He studied at music universities and academies in Warsaw, Barcelona, Detmold, and Essen. Since 2018 he has taught an accordion class at the High School of Music in Detmold. He also frequently conducts masterclasses in Europe and Asia. 

He regularly performs as a soloist with symphony orchestras such as the Warsaw Philharmonic, NOSPR, Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Mainz, Beethoven Orchester Bonn, and Bochumer Symphoniker, under conductors such as Jacek Kaspszyk, José Maria Florêncio, Krzysztof Penderecki, Łukasz Borowicz, Rasmus Baumann, and Bassem Akiki. 

He has appeared at festivals in Poland and abroad, including Warsaw Autumn, La Folle Journée, Festival of Polish Music, Musica Polonica Nova, Music Festival in Łańcut, Neue Horizonten, Klangbrücke, Two Days and Two Nights of New Music in Odessa, Contrasts in Lviv, Festival di Musica Classica Farinelli in Andria, Krzysztof Penderecki Days in Yerevan, Auksodrone, Musique au Leman, Latvian New Music Days, Folefest in Lisbon, Daegu International Contemporary Music Festival, Moscow Autumn, Niedersächsische Musiktage, Chapeau Classique, Ludwigsburgschlossfestspiele, as well as in the series of Cleveland Classical Guitar Society. He regularly tours in China with performances at the Forbidden City Concert Hall, Tianjin Theatre, Harbin Grand Opera, and others. 

He has premiered more than 90 new compositions, mostly of works dedicated to him. In November 2016 he recorded So a Gubaidulina’s Under the Sign of Scorpio, and in January 2018 took part in the premiere of Krzysztof Penderecki’s Accordion Concerto, which he later recorded on a Fryderyk-winning album with the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra under the composer’s baton. He has recorded seven solo albums (including some nominated for Opus Klassik) and appeared on ten others as a guest performer. 

He is the winner of one of the world’s most important accordion competitions: Certamen Internacional de Acordeón Arrasate Hiria in Spain (2012). He has also received the Polityka weekly’s Passport Award “for extremely mature and expressive interpretations of contemporary repertoire, courage, risk-taking, and perseverance, building repertoires, creative concert programming, inspiring our imagination, and persuasive power” (2013). Frąckiewicz has also won prizes in international accordion competitions held in Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Italy, and Spain, including the grand prix and audience award in the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb (Bonn, 2018), Folkwang Prize (Essen, 2017), GWK-Förderpreise für Musik (Münster, 2015), and the 2nd Prize of the Klingenthal Competition (2008).
